Technical Support Reps, Basic DSL Troubleshooting

This is a true telecommuting job. There are no start-up, training, or other fees required. Currently hiring residents of Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Utah, South Carolina and North Carolina experienced with call center environments supporting Internet related issues for our work from home program. Technicians will assist with Internet services, desktop support, and security related issues. Our model work at home technician will have strong customer service and self-management skills along with excellent communication skills.

Work at home representatives get to experience the technical support position in the comfort of their own home, using their own computer hardware. You will receive incoming calls on the VoIP equipment issued out by us. Calls will consist of basic DSL trouble shooting, Internet connectivity, email clients, up selling applicable products, and other related issues. All of the work at home agents are required to select 4 on call shifts of 2 hours per month. When you’re on-call shift is up, you will contact the Floor Manager who will let you know if your extra help is needed at that time.

As a Technical Support Representative Level 1 you will be eligible for all benefits that are outlined in the Fair Labor Standards Act. This will include payment of over time for all employees who are properly authorized to work over normal work week hours. We are required by this act to compensate non-exempt employees overtime pay at a rate of one-and-one half the regular pay rate for this position.

You will have a regular schedule just as any other employee in the company, but will be required to choose the additional on-call time. Work at home agents are eligible for all incentives and benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) that the in-house representatives are given. This experience is innovative and fast paced.
